Arrival & Pickup in Puerto Maldonado
Your Tambopata Jungle 3 Days adventure begins upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, where our team will welcome you at the airport or bus terminal and assist with your transfer.
Before entering the rainforest, unnecessary luggage may be stored at our office so you can travel comfortably with only the items required for your jungle stay.
If time allows, a short introductory stop may be made near Puerto Maldonado before continuing toward the Amazon.
River Journey to the Eco-Lodge
We travel to the river port and board a motorized canoe for a scenic journey along the Madre de Dios River.
During the boat ride, keep watch along the riverbanks for birds, turtles and other Amazon wildlife.

We travel by motorized boat toward the entrance to Sandoval Lake, one of the best-known natural attractions inside the Tambopata National Reserve.
Guided Rainforest Hike
From the control point, we begin a guided walk of approximately 45 minutes through tropical forest trails.
Along the way, your guide will explain Amazonian plants, insects, wildlife and the ecological relationships that make the rainforest so diverse.

The timing or order of canopy, zipline, kayaking, river excursions, clay lick observation, night activities and other experiences may be adjusted when weather, river or safety conditions require operational changes.
Wildlife sightings, bird activity at the clay lick and clear weather cannot be guaranteed.
Rain, clouds or limited wildlife sightings do not automatically qualify for a refund when the overall tour remains operational.
An exceptional safety restriction, official access closure, extreme river condition or situation that makes an activity impossible to operate may affect the service.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because lodge accommodation, transportation and Amazon services must be arranged in advance, the following conditions apply.
More Than 7 Days Before Departure
A partial refund may be available when cancellation is requested more than 7 days before departure.
Lodge reservations, transportation, entrance tickets, transaction fees and any services already purchased, confirmed or considered non-refundable will be deducted from the refundable amount.
7 Days or Less Before Departure
Cancellations made 7 days or less before departure are non-refundable because the principal accommodation, transportation and operational services will already have been coordinated.
