The tour begins with hotel pickup from Cusco or the Sacred Valley, followed by a transfer to the train station heading to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Day 1: Machu Picchu One Day Tour
Early Morning Pickup & Transfer
The tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., followed by a drive to the Ollantaytambo train station, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
Train Journey to Aguas Calientes
From Ollantaytambo, we will take the train at 6:40 am to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). This journey offers breathtaking views of rivers, mountains, and lush vegetation as we approach one of Peru’s most iconic destinations.
Bus to the Entrance of Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will take the tourist bus along a winding road to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Inside the archaeological site, we will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two and a half hours, visiting the most important sectors of the Inca citadel, including the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Intihuatana (Solar Clock), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the stone quarries. Throughout the tour, your professional guide will explain the history, architecture, and spiritual significance of Machu Picchu.
Free Time to Explore
After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the citadel at your own pace, take photographs, and admire the panoramic views.
Return to Aguas Calientes

Return to Cusco
