Authorized photographs may also be published so travelers can view and save images from their trip. Photographs in open galleries and social-media posts are publicly accessible.

Other people may view, download or share publicly available images. Copies independently saved or redistributed by third parties may remain outside our control.

Permission to Publish

Purchasing a tour does not by itself authorize promotional publication of identifiable photographs or videos. Where consent is required, publication is based on a separate authorization identifying the intended uses and channels.

Permissions involving images of minors must follow the applicable authorization requirements.

06 / STORAGE & RETENTION

How Booking Information Is Stored

Reservation records are maintained in Excel files stored in Google Drive. These records contain information used to organize and administer the services requested by travelers.

Our business uses Gmail for booking correspondence, including the account machupicchuinkatravelagency@gmail.com .

Information held in reservation records and email correspondence is separate from photographs made available in public travel galleries.

Google Services & International Processing

Gmail and Google Drive involve processing by Google. Information may be processed on servers outside Peru. Further information about Google’s handling of data and international processing is available in its Privacy Policy .

How Long Information Is Kept

Personal information is used to arrange and manage your reservation. Copies of identity documents and relevant assistance information are deleted when the booked services and related administrative matters have been completed, unless a specific legal obligation or unresolved claim requires continued retention.

Enquiries that do not result in a reservation are retained only for the time needed to address the requested information and related follow-up, unless a separate lawful purpose justifies continued retention.

Accounting records, payment confirmations and supporting documents needed for tax obligations are retained for the period required by Peruvian law: five years or the applicable tax limitation period, whichever is longer, calculated under the applicable rules.

Only information necessary for those obligations is retained. This does not automatically require keeping complete passport copies or health information for the same period.

Traveler photographs and records of image permissions are handled separately, according to the authorized purposes and applicable withdrawal requirements. Minimal authorization or withdrawal records may be retained where necessary to demonstrate compliance or address applicable legal claims.

Protection of Booking Records

Personal information must be handled with safeguards appropriate to its nature and use. Access should be limited to people who need the information for the relevant booking or administrative task.

Send only the documents requested for your reservation through the channel identified by our team. Avoid sending unrelated sensitive information.

07 / YOUR RIGHTS & CONTACT

Questions About Your Information

You may request information about the processing of your personal data and exercise applicable rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent under the applicable rules. Withdrawal does not automatically erase records that must lawfully be retained.

Explain your request and provide a way for us to contact you. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing records.
