Your Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or a previously arranged meeting point in Cusco, usually between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. After meeting your guide and the rest of the group, you will leave Cusco by tourist transportation and begin your journey toward the Sacred Valley.
Chinchero
The first destination is Chinchero, a traditional Andean town where Inca heritage, colonial history, agriculture, and living local traditions come together. During the visit, your guide will introduce you to the archaeological remains and explain the historical importance of Chinchero within the Inca world.
You will also visit a local textile center, where Andean artisans demonstrate traditional techniques for preparing wool, producing natural dyes, and weaving colorful textiles. Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
After completing the visit to Ollantaytambo, you will head to the train station and board your scheduled service to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).

At approximately 7:30 p.m., your professional guide will meet you at the hotel for a briefing about your visit to Machu Picchu.

After the briefing, you can rest and prepare for Day 2.

Bus to Machu Picchu
At the coordinated time, you will walk to the shuttle bus station and begin the approximately 30-minute journey from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
The road climbs through the mountain landscape until reaching the entrance to the archaeological sanctuary, where your guide will assist you before beginning the visit.
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Enter the legendary Inca citadel and enjoy an approximately 2 to 2½-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu with a professional local guide.

Ollantaytambo – Cusco
Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo Train Station, our tourist transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
The final arrival time will depend on your return train schedule and road conditions. Upon reaching Cusco, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the previously coordinated location, bringing your Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour to an end.

Machu Picchu Circuit 2 is currently sold out through November. At the moment, availability for Circuit 2 remains only for selected dates in December.
If you are planning to visit Machu Picchu before December, we can still arrange the best available alternative route, prioritizing Circuit 3 or Circuit 1, depending on availability for your travel date.
For travelers visiting in December, we strongly recommend booking as early as possible, as Circuit 2 is the most requested route and remaining spaces can sell out quickly.
